Event Rentals NearMe
1. Booking & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your event date. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit is received.
The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to the event date. Orders not paid in full by the due date may be subject to cancellation.
Event Rentals NearMe reserves the right to release any booking if full payment is not received on time.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Deposits are non-refundable, as they secure your event date and inventory.
In the event of unsafe weather conditions (including heavy rain, high winds, or severe weather), rentals may be rescheduled based on availability. Deposits will be applied to a future booking.
Rescheduled events should be used within a reasonable timeframe and are subject to availability.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable and non-transferable.
3. Delivery, Setup & Site Requirements
Event Rentals NearMe provides delivery, setup, and breakdown of rental equipment.
The customer is responsible for providing:
A flat, clean, and clear setup area
Electrical outlet within 50 feet (unless a generator is rented)
Water source and hose for water units
Setup areas must be free of debris, pet waste, and obstacles. The customer must ensure access to the setup area at the scheduled delivery time.
Event Rentals NearMe reserves the right to refuse setup if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Equipment may be delivered early or picked up later for scheduling purposes. The customer is responsible for all equipment from delivery until pickup.
4. Equipment Use & Safety
A responsible adult (18+) must supervise all equipment at all times.
All users must:
Follow posted safety rules
Be of similar size when using inflatables
Follow occupancy limits
The following are not permitted:
Shoes, food, or drinks on inflatables
Face paint, slime, confetti, or silly string
Climbing on netting or unsafe use
Rough play, flips, or horseplay
Event Rentals NearMe reserves the right to stop use or remove equipment without refund if safety rules are not followed.
5. Equipment Responsibility & Damage
The customer assumes full responsibility for all rented equipment from the time of delivery until pickup.
The customer is responsible for:
Damage
Theft
Loss
Misuse
Additional charges may apply for:
Cleaning fees ($50–$500 depending on severity)
Damage or replacement costs if equipment cannot be repaired
Charges will be based on repair or replacement cost at the sole discretion of Event Rentals NearMe.
Accidental Damage Protection applies only to qualifying minor accidental damage as outlined in Section 12.
6. Liability & Assumption of Risk
Participation in activities involving rental equipment includes inherent risks.
By renting equipment, the customer voluntarily assumes all risks associated with its use.
Event Rentals NearMe shall not be held liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from use of equipment, except in cases of gross negligence.
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Event Rentals NearMe from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from use of rental equipment.
7. Equipment Restrictions
Equipment must not be moved, adjusted, or relocated by anyone other than Event Rentals NearMe staff.
Units must remain properly secured at all times. Dry units must remain dry.
No animals are permitted on or near equipment.
The customer agrees not to allow unauthorized persons to operate or modify equipment.
8. Concessions Equipment
Concession equipment (including popcorn, cotton candy, and similar machines) may involve heat and moving parts.
Use requires adult supervision. The customer assumes all risks associated with operation.
9. Photo Booth Rentals
A minimum setup space and access to power must be provided.
Event Rentals NearMe is not responsible for interruptions caused by power issues, venue restrictions, or guest interference.
10. Weather & Safety
Event Rentals NearMe reserves the right to cancel, delay, or discontinue equipment use if weather conditions are deemed unsafe.
Safety is always the top priority.
11. General Terms
Delivery times are scheduled within a delivery window and are not guaranteed to a specific minute.
Overnight rentals remain the responsibility of the customer until pickup.
Event Rentals NearMe is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
12. Accidental Damage Protection
Accidental Damage Protection is included with all rentals and is calculated as a percentage of the total rental cost, subject to a minimum and maximum fee.
This protection covers:
Minor accidental damage
Normal wear and tear
Minor stains or cleaning from standard use
This protection does not cover:
Misuse, abuse, or negligence
Use of prohibited items (including face paint, silly string, food, drinks, or similar substances)
Theft, loss, or missing equipment
Damage caused by failure to follow safety guidelines
Intentional damage or improper operation
In such cases, the customer remains fully responsible for repair or replacement costs.
Event Rentals NearMe reserves the sole right to determine whether damage qualifies as minor and covered under this protection.
13. Agreement
By completing a booking or submitting payment, the customer confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all rentals and govern all bookings made with Event Rentals NearMe.
